To truly love, people had whispered in the dead of night, when the candles fade and the crickets roam, is to leave all sanity behind, to be selfish and dirty and bitter, there was nothing beautiful about it, it was ugly as it was angry.
But to have angered one that controls it, was a thought no one could bear, to have gotten it's attention and won it's gaze was what for some seemed like a worst fate, for one to be so thoroughly enraptured by the desires they bare that the one who holds it all could be moved, well what more could come close to it's pitifulness
To have somehow done both?...well that was impossible, just as impossible as the existence of children of gods were.
