Cameron Thompson is the daughter of two of the most famous actors in Hollywood. Her entire life, up to this point, has consisted of paparazzi, movie premieres, and designer dresses. But one day she begins to hear voices. Voices that sound an awful lot like the thoughts of the people around her.
Suddenly, she is thrust into a world of magic and supernatural abilities. She realizes that if she thought Hollywood was scary, she had never met "the gifted". Transferred from California to North Carolina, she starts a new life, learning about her powers, herself, and her family. She finds friends, finds love, and finds adventure.
Three years into her fresh start, she gets a shocking phone call. She will have to return to Hollywood.
