This fan fiction will explore Link's memories and his romantic involvement with Zelda after the final face off with Ganondorf in Breath of the Wild. After the battle, Link and Zelda must find out what their next goal will be. How will they rebuild this almost desolate kingdom? Will feelings between the knight and princess develop during this journey? Will Link regain his memories and remember some devastating secrets about himself or Hyrule? How A Princess Fights.
When Zelda is forced to marry a tyrant that would bring her country to ruin, she lashes out at her new husband. The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! Until The Last Breath
A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon.
