Joel's life was a mess ever since he walked into the concrete jungle, that is Abersoft, the famous Sunset town. The town where everybody wants to live; it was everyone's fantasy. His mom was going to marry his father's old friend. His reputation at his new school was fresh, yet he was scared of the people who looked like they'd break his neck with words.
He had never thought he'd find a beautiful home inside this town.

Okay I know I might be over exaggerating but I'm seriously forever alone. I mean I'm 16 and I've never had my first kiss! Guys don't even look in my direction! I'm not the most popular girl in school but I'm not a complete nerd! And I mean I know I'm not the prettiest girl around but I don't look like medusa! Walking into an empty house is normal to me. I guess I got tired of saying 'I'm home' when nobody is home to reply. It wasn't always like this. I remember when our family was close. Now we don't see each other any more. We don't talk to each other. We don't eat with each other. We don't ACKNOWLEDGE each other. This all happened after my 'Mother' killed herself.
