After her mom passes away, Natalie Jones and her sister are put unto their grandparent's care resulting in a move to Georgia. Natalie faces being tormented and belittled again because of how she looks at her new school, so she sets out to make herself as unnoticeable as possible. She just wants to get through the year without having to catch any unneeded attention.
Well that plan backfires when the son of Georgia's most feared Kingpin takes an interest in Natalie's apprehensive demeanor and doesn't plan on going anywhere soon, no matter how hard Natalie tries to push him away.
