Ash Ketchum, along with his partner Pikachu, hopes to become a Pokemon Master. One day, the two find themselves in a different world after engaging in a battle with a Pokemon named Tapu Koko. In this world they meet Gon, Leorio, Kurapika and Killua who also happen to be from a different world to the one they are in. They also meet people who come from this world such as Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and the rest of his classmates from U.A High. In this world, around 80% of the population posses a superpower called a Quirk. This new world is like something you would expect from a comic book with Heroes and Villains. At first they are hesitant but Ash confirms that Meowth doesn't normally ask for help and believes him. This then convinces Gon and Killua to try and get a placement in the work study program alongside their friends from Class 1A. Meanwhile, Ash, Pikachu, Leorio, Kurapika agree that they will go with Meowth to rescue Jessie and James once he fully recovers.
