Aiden and Emma have always had a love hate relationship ever since they were just two kids destroying each other's sand castles at the playground. Always being forced to hang out because of mutual friends doesn't mean you automatically become best friends. But after Emma goes through a tragic accident, and Aiden is somehow there at the scene, the two become closer than they thought they would.

He's the school's biggest player. "Hey cutie, wanna take a ride?" He's the most arrogant person I know. "I can't help it if I'm amazingly good-looking!" He's crazy popular. "Nah, sorry man. I can't come over tonight. I'm going to a party." He's my best friend. ~ Aiden and Carter have been best friends for as long as they can remember. With Aiden being a social butterfly, and Carter being a social outcast, it's no wonder people stare at them when they walk through the halls together. They're two different people. Shouldn't they not be talking to one another? However, things get complicated when Carter's feelings grow stronger for Aiden. With Aiden always hooking up with different girls, Carter doesn't know if she can take much more of the heartbreak. They say friendships last forever, but what if that friend just so happens to be the love of your life? [WARNING! Unedited, cliché, and written when I was 14-15...] {Beautiful cover by @natlovesxo}
