( discontinued to be rewritten ) Huntingtown was panicking; no one knew where the sirens were coming from. There was no electricity, and there was no way for the storm Sirens to be sounding, yet they were. The entire Town was awake; everyone had a weapon. They had grabbed guns, knives, swords, and bats if they could be wielded and used for self-defense; Renee aimed her rifle at the trees, looking desperately for an explanation. Why would a siren sound? They only sounded when they were in Danger, so where was the Danger? When the predators revealed themselves, that was where the siren noise was coming from. Renee could feel her heart jump into her throat. Her face went pale; they were here. They had found the Town. Terror and panic soon swept Huntingtown; everyone knew what those monsters could do. After all, they did conquer the planet and impose the "choosing." Huntingtown was created hoping that its isolation in a cold climate would keep the Predators away, but it didn't. A voice came over those speakers. A male voice Gruff and laced with a growl. It was almost as if whoever was speaking was annoyed and angry. "Although I have enjoyed seeing your little Town outmaneuver many hunters. I am afraid this is where your little games end. However, I will give you a chance to keep your freedom. A hunt. You will be red by your best hunter, Renee Madison." Renee felt her blood go cold as she stared wide-eyed at the ship. She was unknowingly dropping her gun at the news. " she will be your leader; she will be my prize. You have a time advantage. Go!" The ship took off, looking for a place to land, all while the news sank into the Town's residence. Renee had known she had fucked up when she fired at one of those predators and hit him. She had proven herself worthy of the hunt. Now she has to face the consequences, not only her but her entire Town had to. Renee had to win this hunt; the fate of her Town depended on it.
The Giant War: Immovable Objects by SadBraveHero
27 parts Complete
Long before the extraordinary was vanquished and confined to the realm of children's tales, giants walked the Earth. Sixteen feet tall, powerful, long lived, they hunted the colder regions of Northern Europe in tight nomadic tribes, thriving unchallenged... Until a tiny, clever, mindlessly aggressive, voraciously reproducing competitor invaded their habitat. In such confrontations, Darwinian rules predicted unavoidable conflict. The odds would have favored the tiny invaders. The giants' formidable strength would not have been enough to overcome their adversary's sheer numbers. After enough battles the choice for these immense beings must have been obvious-- Flee or be annihilated. Some chose oblivion, giving birth to the glorious bedtime stories in our lore... Others fled. Hiding from view, keeping to the outskirts, they searched for a sanctuary so remote, so desolate and so uninviting, that their relentless persecutors wouldn't bother with it. Eventually they settled within the ice of the great glaciers of Antarctica, establishing a peaceful, isolated colony that flourished undisturbed for centuries. Then a clever scientist mixed up a batch of Rare Earth Elements and created a superconducting material that could corral as much energy as the sun could throw at it as long as it stayed around the temperature of ice. The invention instantly transformed the Last Continent into a lucrative chunk of real estate. Humans and their machinery poured in, domesticating the wild frontier spreading like lava over ice, probing every nook and corner. Inevitably they collided with the hidden giants. Only this time there was no place left for them to run... This time there would be war.

When Worlds Collide

In the distant future, Earth lies in ruin, a desolate landscape scarred by the ravages of time and neglect. Cities crumble, forests fade to dust, and the remnants of civilization cling desperately to the shadows of a once-thriving world. Amidst this bleak panorama, a group known as the Treaders emerges-individuals bestowed with extraordinary abilities that connect them deeply to the earth and its truths. With great abilities, Treaders can summon storms, grow life from barren soil, and even speak to the remnants of the past. Their gifts, however, come with a heavy burden: they are the last hope for restoring balance to a fractured planet, but they are also hunted by factions that crave their abilities for domination. A girl, broken by captivity and lost in silent pleas may just hold the key to ridding the world of its desolation. what will happen, When worlds Collide? *Amaris stood at the center of the pit, her back straight, her face pale but set with quiet resolve. Her long dark hair falling in tresses down her back, framing her soft face perfectly. She was bruised, battered from the days spent in this cursed place, but still, she stood. Still, she fought to live. A muscle clenched in my jaw. They would not take her from me.* #1 in Coexistence 3/20/25 #9 in Confinement 3/20/25 Trigger warning; depicted scenes of violence and gore
