Human Kind.

The Earth is four-and-a-half billion years old. Our beautiful world is a wonder in itself, featuring thousands of glistening rivers, singing trees, floating birds and its magnificent plains with their equally serendipitous rains. But, in the seconds humanity has traversed across the globe, our precious wilderness has turned into a broken pile of ashes. Species have gone extinct at a blink of an eye, and Mother Nature weeps as her forests tumble, and as her dear creatures suffer.

If we have caused all this pain to a world that has been our friend, our lifeblood, our home, for centuries, how can we possibly call ourselves "kind"? All our planet asks of us is to open our minds and hearts and listen - listen to cries of the beautiful insects and their forests.

Mother Nature has listened patiently to our stories for millennia - it is now time we listened to hers. Maybe through this understanding, we can bring the "kind" back into "humankind" and start treating our Earth with compassion and respect.
