Scarlet Moon is a normal girl. With no hopes. No dreams. She wears big glasses, and is a freak. A nobody. Not someone you want to be with.
HELL NO!
Okay, so isn't that how a lot stories are started? Okay, maybe not a lot, BUT not the point. So... to the REAL story...
I sorta kinda lied about the being a freak, big glasses, no hopes or dreams, and all that jazz.
Scarlet Moon is a shy, lonely girl that is in love with animals. NOT in the way you pervs think... so don't think that. She believes in dark magic and ghosts and stuff, but she just ignores it. All she cares about are her animals, and no, not stuffed animals. Don't get her the wrong way. Scarlet doesn't have dolls which have secret pockets to keep their knives. She is not a freak... in that sorta way. Anyway, she uses her extra time (which is almost 24/7) at the animal shelter. Scarlet takes care of animals, to dogs and cats, to squirrels and rabbits. So on one night, she finds a large, okay, huge dog and what does she do? She takes it home and saves it's life.
When her father returns to the house, he beats her. Bad. Scarlet escaped through the window and ran... and ran. She almost gets rapped by a crazy man, but is saved by that same dog. Hmmm...
So Scarlet blacks out and has nice dreams and stuff, but when she awakens, she does NOT like her surprise.
A demon.
With sharp claws, deadly fangs, and eyes that can look into your soul, a demon stands over her. And without her mysterious dog savior with her, it takes her to Hell. Standing there, alone, with a demon Scarlet realizes that her life is on the line.
Once upon a time, there was a pretty young girl that had no clue that werewolves and vampires and what not existed. And then a werewolf bit her. That's where the similarities between Annabeth Moonlight and what she believes to be the "fairy tale world" end.
Annabeth is a normal 17 year old high school girl, thinking normal high schooler thoughts, when a werewolf bites her. Most rudely, too.
Then, just when she convinces herself that the bite was just some wierdo, she begins the Change. She starts hearing a voice in her head that claims to be her wolf.
And finally, once she has finally gotten a handle on all these new changes (actually, she only thinks she has), a handsome guy walks into her life, and her inner wolf tells her that he is her destined mate.
And just as she thinks everything is going perfectly, a man from her (very recent) past shows up and turns everything around. And he happens to be another mate.
But a werewolf can only ever have one mate at any given time, as Annabeth has learned. So one is real, and the other is faking it, to put it simply. So now, she also has to figure out which one is "good" and which one is "bad". Just freaking great.
And, just after she does that, she gets caught up in a war. (Well, technically, she starts the war, but let's not get caught up in the technicalities, shall we?)
So join Annabeth as she discovers the magical (and somewhat annoying) world of werewolves and love!
