To my horror, I watched as the man stab the girl in her stomach and then laughed. The girl fell down to her knees and got hold of her bleeding stomach.

"Damon?"

There -in the mirror- stood me, looking tired as ever, but that didn't make me quiver in fright. What did make me quiver, was the man that was behind me with frightening red eyes and sharp white fangs.
