The story talks about Alandra Blake, an ordinary high school girl, who is caught handling drugs and alcohol. Being underage, she is sentenced to volunteer at The Sunshine Smile Club for atleast 1000 hours. During her sentence, she understands better about herself, and about judging people.. Leading the experience to be one that could possibly change her life forever.
