Virgil Blake moves to Gainesville, Florida at the age of 16 with his father and twin sister after his mother's death. He doesn't believe in a 'happily, ever after'. At least not for himself. Virgil thinks it is stupid because he's seen for himself that not even his parents got to have one, even though they always told him they would while he was a child.
He moves to Florida with the opinion that fairy-tales are stupid - that or he fears them - and that he will never have a 'happily, ever after'. But how wrong he is proven when he bumps into Roman Garcia, Patton Maine, and Logan Connors. He gets whirled up in his very own - down to earth - fairy-tale.

*completed* Despite being only 17, Virgil's had a horrible life, living in an orphanage and being an outcast at school, and it just got even worse when he's kidnapped by a freaking cult! He thought he was dead for sure when they started sacrificing him to some demon, but apparently the demon chose to serve him since he was the one giving away his blood to summon them. Hold On (Book 1 of It's Not Over)
[Completed] Sanders Sides human au fanfic. Twin brothers Virgil and Patton Novas have moved around a lot thanks to their father's job. From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. Logan's fine. Really. He has no problem (has resigned himself) with the fact that his best friends (whom he also has a terrible crush on) are dating. The fact that their other two friends are *also* dating absolutely doesn't pose any additional problem. Neither does Logan being the sole only child of their group. Really, he's okay. But then comes Virgil, a teenager (barely adult, really) from the north, fearful, promised in marriage and destined to give up everything to join them. After his caring mother is killed in a horrible car crash that should have killed Virgil as well, his father realizes that Heavens angels are trying to send Virgil back to Hell despite him not doing anything bad. Virgil is sent to his Uncle Patton's place to live and goes to a new school. There he meets an annoying kid who somehow befriends him, but little does he know the kid was sent by his father to protect him.
