This telling of Hades and Persephone I did for a school project and is super short, just a one pager. It was for a vocabulary assignment so sorry if it's not stellar. I do intend to write a longer Hades and Persephone story some time in the future though.

The cover image is not mine, it is a drawing by Simon Prades that I found on Pinterest and felt fit my story.

Hades, Burn My Heart.
Excerpt of the story: "My uncle used to say Hades left the Underworld for Persephone, and I thought how stupid was that, like why would he leave for a girl? And I think I finally got why he did it." His eyebrows furrow, making him appear deep in his thoughts. "Why?" He turns to me, saying his next words seriously, "He needed someone to see the good in him. To fall in love with him."Lengkap

The God & The Shadow
"Jealous?" "Why would I be?" "Because I know your fantasies." He argued. I leaned closer to him, smelling his overwhelming scent. "And I'm appalled at how they are just that. Fantasies." He smiled and leaned closer, piercing through my eyes with the blue of his. I wanted to grab the dagger beneath my pillow and kill him already. "Are you now?" He answered, coming dangerously close to me. He brought his hand up to lift my chin, our noses touching. Gods, help me. I want nothing to do with this man. I really don't. He hates me, and I hate him. Our banter is not just banter; there's always a sense of truth in between, and that's what makes it all the more addicting. - THE GOD is the master of death and darkness. Lore, previously known as Hades, rarely ever visited the mortal realm. As the gods get involved in a war against the rebellious uprising amongst the dark angels, he must work together with a group of immortals, a ruthless and serpentine assassin being one of them. THE SHADOW is a half-breed. Left destitute at seven and made a killer eleven years later, she leaves destruction and death wherever she walks the mortal realm. Forced into a team unit as punishment for her insolent behavior, she must work with the god she grew to admire and learned to hate. Alliances built on lies and hatred are inevitable to fall. Dark Petals (A Hades and Persephone story)

The Curse of a Godess
"Kiss me." He whispers. "I-I don't know how...I've never done this before." I frantically whisper and tilt my head. My nose slightly brushes against his, and all of my instincts tell me to dive into him with the most passionate kiss I could create. I wanted to be closer, and feel every part of him against me. "Can I kiss you?" He asks through an intoxicating whisper. His lips teasingly hover over mine, and without thinking I finally press my lips against his. His lips matched mine perfectly like a puzzle, and I wrap my arms around his neck to pull him closer. His hands trail up my back, and the euphoric bursts of pleasure take my senses into over drive. He starts to part his lips, and his tongue slowly enters through my lips to play with mine. He tastes of sweet wine, and I feel my hands sliding up to grip his hair. I let out a slight moan into his lips, and my breath grows heavy. We part for a gasp of air before meeting back with more of my muffled moans. A faint thud-like sound catches my attention, and I start to pull away to see what made the sound. My lips retreat, and I take a faint breath before clearing my mind to think logically. As I pull away, his lips simply continue to kiss my chin and down my cheek. Another gasp slips from my lips, and this one echos through the hall. "I..I think...I...I heard something." I whisper as quietly as possible. He lightly pulls away to take a small breath before smiling. "I didn't hear anything. It's nothing." He pushes aside.... During the ancient times of Greece, lives the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. All her life has been sheltered from the mortal and immortal world. When her desire for a taste of freedom goes too far, she seals a deal with a man she will never escape... Enjoy this retelling of the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone! This is one of my favorite Greeks myths, and comment if you have any feedback! I'd love to hear from you 🖤Lengkap
The Tale of Hades & Persephone
This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). Hades has been alone for far too long. One day he pays a visit to Zeus and requests to marry Persephone. The King of the Gods agrees and even recommends Hades kidnap Persephone, since it's unlikely Demeter will agree to the marriage. Persephone is a young Goddess of Earth curious about the world of the mortals. She's always helping her mother Demeter, but one day while watching the mortals she wanders off only to fun into a handsome stranger. After a brief conversation, Persephone finds herself swept away to the Underworld. Will Hades manage to get Persephone to fall in love with him? What will Demeter do when she discovers her daughter is missing and it's all Zeus' fault? Will the mortals be able to survive the wrath of the Gods?Lengkap
Hades |Lesbian Version|
| A Wattpad Featured Story | Hades was well-cast to rule over the land of the dead. But what if Hades, the fearsome monarch of the Underworld was, in fact, a goddess? Everyone called her, 'Lord of the Dead' out of mockery since she prefers the company of women. She was considered an isolated and violent immortal, who loathed change and was easily given to a slow black rage like no others. But then everything changed when the dark goddess met the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. Now the tale of Hades and Persephone will be retold with a sprinkle of twists and turns. |LGBT content. Gender-swapped. I do not own the Greek myth, which goes without saying. All characters are borrowed and the story-line is recreated for entertainment purpose only.|Lengkap
Hades and Persephone
Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. Hades struggles to win Persephone over...but perhaps Persephone has always been meant to be with him, and she wasn't an innocent as she was thought she was... Moderate explicit parts. *not finished* "Look, Persephone, you're a reasonable Goddess, more reasonable than most. You have to understand I was not born the Lord of the Underworld. The title was appointed to me because I was the unlucky one. My job is just as important as my brother's jobs. I wasn't selected because of my cruel ways but now because of the way people speak of me and fear me now I am the cruel one whether or not I like it. Do you honesty think it is fair that it should work that way? People take one look at me and assume I'm the devil." Persephone crouches back in her seat. I realize I am standing and seat myself, trying to calm myself. "Do you honestly think that being in charge of the dead and judging them makes me undeserving of love, of a wife? I'm doomed to be exiled down here. I don't even have the sun to keep me warm, Persephone. You're all the sun I have..." *This story is also not meant to be factually accurate, and is simply an interpretation of the story.Lengkap
Flowers and Shadows
Hades and Persephone is a story that has so many different sides to it. Some people romanticize their relationship (often without taking into account certain aspects of the myth) while others insist that Hades was nothing but perverse and awful... even though taking Persephone, after having her father's permission, was quite normal for the time! This is a retelling of the ancient myth, with all the ancient components to it. I researched the story from many different sources and tried to make it as accurate as possible. The only writer's license was the amount of time she spent in the Underworld before Hermes came-- I never found an exact number, so I wrote it as six months, partly so that they had time to truly fall for each other, partly so that she would return to the mortal realm immediately after being returned to Demeter. Persephone is a character who understands the place goddesses and women have in the world, understands the normalcy of her capture, but still struggles with feeling like it's unjust. Hades is a god with few romantic relationships in his past (Leuce and Minthe) who hadn't fallen for anyone for a while and wasn't quite sure how to treat a goddess in a realm he never visited. This is the story.Lengkap
DIVINE - A Persephone And Hades Retelling
"I've told you, Hades, I can not become your mistress." she sadly told him. She had always lived in her mother's shadow, and if she followed Hades, she would once again be living in another's shadow. Even though she loved him, she did not think she could stomach it. "I do not want you to be my mistress, Persephone, I want you to be my queen," he confessed to her. She snapped her head up to meet his eyes, searching for any sign he wanted to take his words back, but there was no remorse. And just like that, she fell ever so slightly more in love with him. "Your queen?" she asked, she had to be sure. Strangely the word had slid off her tongue gracefully as if it had belonged there. "Yes, become my queen," he told her once again, taking back the step she had taken. "Rule besides me as the goddess of spring and the Underworld." The words don't seem to make sense in her mind. --- Further description in the book --- #1 - MYTH RETELLING (as of October 1st, 2021) #1 - GODDESS OF SPRING (as of Nov 23rd, 2021) #1 - HADES TOWN (as of Jan 13th, 2022) #1 - HADES AND PERSEPHONE (as of Feb 9th, 2022) #1 - GREEK MYTHOLOGY (as of March 29th, 2022) #1 - QUEEN OF THE UNDERWORLD (as of April 4th, 2022) #1 - PERSEPHONE AND HADES (as of April 20th, 2022) #1 - GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD (as of April 20th, 2022) #1 - KING OF THE UNDERWORLD (as of Dec 22, 2022) #2 - HECATE (as of Nov 4th, 2021) #2 - DEMETER (as of Jan 29th, 2022) #2 - KING AND QUEEN (as of Feb 21st, 2022) #2 - PERSEPHONE (as of Sep 20th, 2023) #3 - GREEK MYTH (as of May 6th, 2022) #4 - MYTH (as of April 21th, 2022) #4 - RETELLING (as of May 10th, 2022) #4 - UNDERWORLD (as of 26th, 2023) #6 - HADES (as of April 8th, 2022) #6 - DIVINE (as of May 6th, 2022) #41 - OLYMPIANS (as of Feb 9th, 2021) #55 - GREEK (as of May 8th, 2022) #61 - OLYMPUS (as of May 8th, 2022)Lengkap
