Plot: We are in the near future, and the world is obsessed with Gunpla, the hobby of building and customizing plastic models of mobile suits from the Gundam franchise. A new competition, called the Gundam Build Competitors Tournament, is announced, where the best Gunpla builders and fighters from around the world are invited to compete on a remote island named Ark. The island is equipped with a state-of-the-art system that allows the Gunpla to move and fight in realistic environments, simulating various scenarios from the Gundam series.
