Survival of the fittest. Was the motto Jade Sky lived by, being snatched from her mothers custody at 10 years old her life hadn't been the same since. Fresh out of the group home at 18 years old she's ready to build her own life and make it better than the one she has lived. But some things could never be forgotten & with a past like hers Jade can only come off one way. Angry. When she moves into her new apartment Jade wasn't expecting the Dark & Mysterious stranger who lived above her to spark her flames. 

Eric Sean "Knight" wasn't your average teenager. At 19 years old he had seen and done more than most of the old heads around him. Knight had raised himself from a young boy. For as fucked up as he was, deep behind the darkness he held a soft spot. With Jade moving above him undeniable chemistry explode between them. 
Knight isn't sure he's ready for whatever it is Jade is bringing out of him. He was getting ready to make major moves in his life & he didn't need the distraction.

Jade has her own reasons for not wanting to give in to the temptation of Knight. 

With blast from the past, lies & disloyalties will Jade & Knights passion for each other be stronger than the chaos around them? Or is love just too much for two young, broken individuals to endure?
