The Elf on the Soccer Team And the Girl Hidden in Shadow

Chaaya never quite fit in. Shrouded in shadows, she sat in the back of every class, unnoticed, passing through school like a figment of the imagination. That is, until she watches the soccer team captain, Auris, leap to the top of a fifteen-foot fence one day. When he realizes he's being watched, he loses his footing and falls from the fence, bringing down Chaaya's sense of reality with him. When he reveals the source of his power, the enhanced physicality standard for elves, Chaaya discovers a whole nother world lies hidden beneath the surface of the reality she thought she knew.
