GALAXY DIVIDED
After the death of EMPEROR PALPATINE and the destruction of the second Death Star, the galaxy is left in uncertainty.
As Imperial territory is reclaimed, piece by piece, the Rebel Alliance controls a large section of the Galaxy forming THE NEW REPUBLIC with the capital on planet HOSNIAN PRIME.
After a decade of grueling warfare, the New Republic and Imperial Remnants agreed to cease fire with the signing of the CORUSCANT ACCORD establishing a state of momentary peace.
MON MOTHMA is elected first Chancellor of the New Republic and establishes an enduring democracy after years of war and decades of tyranny. Former Senator LEIA ORGANA refuses to condemn half the galaxy of tyranny and continues to lead a diminished rebel alliance without the support of the New Republic. THE RESISTANCE does not abide by the Coruscant Accord.
20 years later, the galaxy is split into two. Mon Mothma continues to assure the galaxy of its promise of prosperity and liberty as many systems join. Meanwhile, GRAND ADMIRAL THRAWN rises up the ranks and successfully unites the imperial remnants under a new banner, THE FIRST ORDER.
Now, on the backwater planet of Rattatak, Thrawn's forces are on the verge of total victories against their imperial rivals. A group of brave Resistance officers, caught in crossfire, attempts to escape with vital intelligence that could determine the fate of the New Republic and the entire Galaxy...
And thus, the unknown journey begins.

(Book 2) Starkiller has been destroyed, Hux is on thin ice with Supreme Leader Snoke, and Kylo Ren is searching for ways to get stronger. Force Destiny
Immediately following the events of The Last Jedi, the battle for the galaxy continues between the First Order and the last of the Resistance. As the new Supreme Leader takes the throne, the First Order is focused on finding and destroying all who oppose them. The Resistance had disappeared into hiding and desperation has forced them to explore the gray areas of war. Meanwhile, on opposite sides of the war, Rey and Kylo Ren are forced to face the realities of their bond, their complicated relationship, their loyalty to their causes, and their understanding of the Force. Could their star-crossed connection be tied to the fate of the galaxy? This is a slow burn! Enemies to friends to lovers. This story continues the arcs and themes beautifully woven through The Last Jedi, as well as the narrative from the previous two trilogies. All plot elements are intended to be canon-compliant through TLJ. This is 100% complete. It was completed in December 2019 on A03 before The Rise of Skywalker was released, so this is not a "fix-it" fic as much as an alternative to Episode IX. This is a dark story. It is the 33rd century, war still rages endlessly, and amongst the stars humanity remains fractured. The Galactic Empire, forged on the carcass of the old Republic, persists with its conquest for complete and unparalleled domination over the vast reaches of the cosmos, and to purge that which they see unfit as they spread their perversion of what the Republic once stood for. While independent rebel forces with their minuscule manpower each push back against The Emperor's cruel regime with all their might, they suffer tremendous casualties and are executed with exceptional cruelty. This new spark of a Galactic Civil War has already lit a fire too big to quell now, and will only get stronger. The Empire already has torn apart countless star systems, the inhabitants either joining the untold billions of the Empire, or being crushed under their heel.
