A normal world except for the impending darkness and evil that lurks. In 340 days of darkness, sadness, and hopelessness there is five ginormous winter spirits that protects the village from the evil. These winter spirits are called  Vanatrú's and they fight against the demon spirits during these hopeless and dark 340 days. The demon spirits increase in strength as the days come to an end. The Vanatrú's all have a flake of snow that lives inside an orb. This flake begins to melt as the days pass along. Once the darkness ends and the flake melts, the 25 days of Christmas begins for the village. The village is full of happiness, sunlight, and freedom from these evil demon spirits. The flake reappears for the winter guardians, but it is melting too quickly this time. Will the village be able to celebrate Christmas without the demons interference?All Rights Reserved

Well, here is my version of those events. Hiei is moved into an apartment in town because, well, Koenma has to put him somewhere. There he is faced with the family next door and, against his will, their hospitality. Little does he know there is more to this nearly cliché appearing family then meets the eye. One member of that family, Yuko, a seemingly normal human teen that seems unlucky enough to be running head first into trouble and on one faithful night she unlocks a whole new world for herself through Hiei. Each chapter will show the point of views present, being either Yuko's or Hiei's mostly. I don't own Hiei or anything Yu Yu Hakusho related, but damn I would have loved to.
