Slice of Life story about a college girl who has had it rough growing up. With the loss of her best friend when she was at a young age, she found it extremely hard to make any new friends. She's forced herself into a quiet state, avoiding anyone else by any means necessary. But over time (where the story begins), she is approached by some new people who wish to be her friend. And Mia slowly comes out of her shell the longer she's with them, which leads her to find more friends and even a romantic interest. 11 chapters total, if anyone is reading this update here I'm sorry for the delay, I normally post all chapters at once but forgot this time. Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story.
