The seven original grimm have awoken from their slumber, and they are pissed. They seek to help Ozpin kill Salem and release their children from her cruel grip. Though they each wake in different nations, they work in the shadows except for their leader. The leader of the Seven Deadly Grimm is a wendigo by the name of Hastiin who awakens in the Emerald Forest during the initiation test. Ruby encounters Hastiin ands ends up striking up a unique friendship with the Grimm. Only time will tell if the friendship will become something else, and if the grimm will succeed in their mission.
