Three Verses is a collection of poetry by 16- going on 17- girl who just loves writing about what she sees in the world around her, or what she feels in every day life, and what she thinks. Each poem has three verses each- which you probably figured out from the title- and some of them have a deeper meaning if you look closely. What she really likes to do is give a sense or an image to her poems, so much so that the reader can feel it, see it, as well.

H x The main theme of this book is the macabre and horror. Some of the poems are inspired by horror movies that carry an age 15 rating. There are also some poems touching upon anxiety issues. The Songs of The Gullible Wiseman: The Early Poems of Maddy Kobar 2008-2013
A young writer's newly released first collection of poems. Written during the tumultuous and at times troubling years of high school and the more forgiving and enlightening years of college, Maddy Kobar captures what it was like to have come of age in the last few years. These poems touch on personal levels with hope and hopelessness amid the most confusing years of one's life as well as some of the larger issues facing our society- such as women's rights, LGBTQ equality and the fragile state of the environment.
