Ginny Weasely was in love with him. The first time she looked at him, it sent her heart in flutters. She loved everything about him, every aspect of his personality. Even after the pain he inflicted upon her, there is still that tiny hope in her, yearning for the day where he will come back to her.

Hermione Weasely neè Granger had never had a best friend as loyal as him. He supported her through thick and thin, and even after all that torture he put upon the world, there is that tiny voice nagging in her logical head, that maybe he will come back like the old person she knew and admired.

Ron Weasely is recognized as the bravest Auror and the most self confident person anyone has seen, and the reason why he is here today, is because of that best friend who supported and encouraged him, bringing out his hidden talent and qualities. Even thought his entire department is against his best friend, planning to overthrow him, he still hopes that maybe, he will get back that person who changed his life.

But Harry Potter is just a vacant soul, with no emotions except sadistic satisfaction at the pain of others.
