Gerard Way and I had been best friends ever since the start of high school. We were in all the same classes and always sat next to each other. Three years into high school I was transferred and the days leading up to me leaving always left me in tears at the end of them. For a while Gerard and I texted each other everyday whenever we could, then it started becoming once every week, then once every two weeks, to once a month until they stopped. One day I texted Gerard and he texted back saying ‘sorry who are you?’ I was crushed. He’d forgotten me and the times we had.
	I’d also been best friends with Mikey. He still remembers me. He didn’t forget and he told me that Gerard hasn’t either he just choses not to remember me but I think he’s lying. Mikey called me one day to tell me that he, Gerard, a guy called Ray Toro, another called Frank Iero and a final guy called Matt Pelissier and invited me to a gig they were doing in New Jersey (by that time I had moved back to New Jersey and into my old house). I told Mikey that I’d come and that’s where it all began...
