Emma Gray woke up to find herself in bed with her boyfriend's best friend, Seth Matthews, an up and coming business mogul, after a drunken one night stand. When the zombie apocalypse hits, she and Seth escape their hometown and take comfort in each other, not knowing if Danny, Seth's best friend and Emma's boyfriend, is even alive. As their relationship grows into something more, the guilt that weighs on them from Danny's loss drives them to Utah, where Seth has a house in the middle of nowhere--a safe haven. Travelling to Utah from Maine becomes tricky when they cross paths with hordes of zombies and bandits on the way. Can they make it to Utah without being infected? What happened to Danny? Does he have the answers to WHY millions of people have turned into zombies? *FOR MATURE READERS ONLY*
