A Royal Rebellion by RachelWritingBooks

The secret seemed to be etched across my face, the words "traitor" branded on my forehead. I wondered how everyone would feel if they knew what I'd just done, if they knew the treason and danger I'd just committed myself too. If they knew that the helpless girl in the pink dress was something more than a background character. ... It's 1776, and the Revolutionary War is in full swing. Everyday men fight and die for their country on the battlefield, and people grow poorer and poorer everyday as King George continues to tax the colonies. But while civilians drop like flies, nineteen year old Rose and her family are safe in England and as close as ever to King George and his obnoxious daughter Princess Sophia. Rose has a life that one would dream of; endless money and luxury, marriage offerings from every suitor in town, and the privilege of having the royal family in the palm of her hand. Except there's one flaw to Rose's perfect life: she hates it. While everyone else is jealous of Rose's wealth and luck, all Rose wants is to return to her hometown Virginia and get away from Princess Sophia and her minions. But then Rose meets Fiona. She's leader of the Shadow Group, a group of overlooked woman who sneak information from the British and send it to the colonies. Desperate to escape her living nightmare, Rose joins and her luck starts to change. Soon she's secretly attending meetings and flirting information out of her chosen suitor to help her hometown; until the ultimate betrayal tears the group apart. Will Rose make it out of Britain and live the life she's always wanted or to persevere her family's reputation? Or will she crumble under the King's careful thumb and break free forever? It's time Britain realized that it's not just the colonies ready for a rebellion. COMPLETED
Wildflowers In The Ruins: A 1917 Story by Snowdropsdream
18 parts Complete Mature
Completed fan fiction for the film 1917: This is the very first fan fiction I've ever attempted. Please be kind. I hope you like it. It features all of the main characters, several of the others, plus many I've created. Northern France, April 1917: A Voluntary Aid Detachment nurse is sent on an urgent mission across no-man's land accompanying two Lance Corporals, but she will have her own mission to fullfil also and be tested in ways she never deemed possible. Each chapter is named after a flower, relevant to the story, and that you can encounter growing in the wild, either in Britain or Northern France, with the exception of roses and Sweet William's. This story does contain spoilers from the film so it's really worth watching it first. Chapers two (from around halfway through) to eight I've taken directly from the film. The script is copyrighted to Sam Mendes and Krysty Wilson-Cairns, although I've worked from what's spoken in the film rather than off the script. I've taken inspiration from other films, television and books (fiction and non-fiction) set in the First World War too such as Forgotten Voices, The Roses Of No-Man's Land, War Horse, The Crimson Field, Private Peaceful, They Shall Not Grow Old, Testament Of Youth, Journey's End and Birdsong. I've also taken inspiration from the beautiful book A Song For Will which is based on the true story of the gardeners and labourers from the Heligan Estate in Cornwall. Every character who isn't featured in the film 1917 is fictitious and the names are entirely made-up, although every female character's Christian name in my story belongs to a female relative of mine who was alive at the time of the First World War, for example my four Great-grandmothers were Mary-Jane, Lavinia, Ada and Alice. The other names were from my Great and Great-Great-Aunts. Enjoy. ❤ 🌺 ☘ 🌻 💖 🍂 🌿 🌼 💗 🌲 🌸 🍃 💕 🌹 🌱 ⚘💝 🌳 🏵 💮 💌 🌾 💐 🍁 💞 🍀

***UNDERGOING MAJOR EDITING*** Len Kagamine X [Reader] •Vocaloid AU• ◎━━━━━━◎━━━━━━◎ [_____] was struck with tragedy at a young age when her parents had passed in an unfortunate accident. Her father's brother Al and his wife Ann took her into their home with open and loving arms. Atop the lamentable situation, her family lived hours away in a whole new city. With her world turned upside-down, she's had to acclimate to a new city, school, way of life: an entirely different world. Before everything had happened, she had a relatively good relationship with her cousin. Since they were around the same age, they were the best of friends. Yuuma considered her his little sister. And because she didn't know much about her new surroundings, she only looked to her cousin for aid. Once he grew older and made new friends, he excluded her from their outings and their bond deteriorated. At school, a bully reared his ugly head and [_____] faced an even harder adversary. Len Kagamine, a young teenage boy with a rough and tough attitude has been antagonizing her for quite some time. But what happens when he suddenly turns a new leaf? Is that even possible...? And from there, nothing would be the same. ◎━━━━━━◎━━━━━━◎ (wow, I suck at descriptions lmao) ⚠ Warning!! Possible abuse and bullying triggers, blood, and mentions of death. A/N(s): - Female Y/N - Multiple P.O.V.s (point of views) - Characters, names, places, etc. belong to their respective and rightful owners. - I marked the "Mature" due to the strong language and mentions of violence, and usage of alcohol. - Practically an AU because the Vocaloids never existed as computer synthesizers, but as humans - DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE CAST MEMBERS!! MY COMPUTER SCREWED UP WHEN I WAS MESSING AROUND WITH IT AND NOW I CAN'T FIX IT!!! 😭
