Gabriel is a young man who works as a locksmith in a small company, but with great aspirations for music and the arts. He is also the serial killer that police are desperately looking for in Portland, Maine - USA. There are already nine women brutally murdered.
Every time he commits a crime, Gabriel tries to commit suicide.
He is sure that something monstrous inside him dominates him and he doesn't want to keep living with it anymore. Until one day he meets a beautiful woman, Vivian, a music teacher with serious anxiety issues and a quest for perfection.
When they meet for the first time, something about Gabriel catches Vivian's attention: a tattoo of Hamlet's skull on his arm.

Astren City, and all surrounding area, have the highest crime rate in the northern part of the country. Dozens of crime families constantly trying to take the throne, as well as corruption lurking around every corner, do not aid in that fact at all.
