When Emilie's best and only friend Lilly is killed by a mysterious illness, how much worse can it get for Emilie?
Turns out, it can get much worse.
Emilie catches the sickness too, and has a week left, until her heart stops. When the illness is classified as the Black Death, Emilie realizes she will die, because there is no cure. Emilie tries to make a cure to save herself and all those infected. With only a week to live, and increasing amounts of blood loss and pain, can Emilie push through the disease, save her town, and maybe even save the entire world? Or will the black death consume her, and leave the world knowing that it will all end soon?
