Among the many mobs in the world of Minecraft, one species is seemingly way more advanced then others. This species are known as "Players", and contain the power of gods in them, though many prefer not to utilize this power. As such, Players are an endangered species. Only one is known to be left, and she still has much to learn.
Sarah was found as a baby by a gang of Illagers. They were fascinated by the small creature, and brought it to there leader, whom adopted the child as his own. One day, the leader grew sick, leaving Sarah as the head of the Illagers. She quickly proved to be everything the previous leader was capable of, and more. Before long, she was crowned a queen.
However, despite this success at life, Sarah finds herself feeling empty, knowing she is the last player...

She's just getting settled in when she meets an interesting salesman. He tells her that she can play games for money. Making a little money won't hurt... or will it? She'll find out when she decides to join the games. She may also find more than wealth and death in the walls. Maybe she'll find love. This story is a slowburn that includes some enemies to lovers themes/undertones. The reader is female! ~~~ NOTES/ANNOUNCEMENTS/WARNINGS: When Y/N is in the games, I basically follow everything in Squid Game Season One, but I changed a few quotes and events to better suit this book and the inclusion of Y/N. The only trait I have assigned to Y/N is her player number: 055. You can imagine something else though! It won't be very important later on. Some possible triggers including: recurring PTSD, grief, mental breakdowns, drinking, hangovers, very brief sexual assault, detailed sexual assault, etc. More time-specific warnings will be present with the start of each chapter. No warnings = nothing I think will be particularly bad. There's strong language and constant mentions of death as almost this entire story is hosted in a facility that runs death games. It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Morgana grew up doing hard work, but was never accepted due to her red hair, and exotic actions. She longed to be free, to have fun, to let go and be free, but her life had always been planned out. She was to be a farmer until she married or died of old age. But a midnight ride into the woods had her asking questions. Finding a silver haired man and a woman who had the same hair as her made questions race through her head. Not to mention the mysterious wolves that roamed the woods and constantly popped in and out of her life.
