Valerie Ireese. 

She was found outside of the walls by scouts, all terrified as she emerged from the nape of a titan's body. After being taken for questioning, the very Commander Erwin Smith took her under his wing, where she'd make a new family with who was supposedly the strongest of humanity.

Under the will of the authorities, she is sent to cadet training, where she'll meet many new friends. It's also the place where she'll meet the one, the only, Reiner Braun.

He's supposed to be a warrior. He's supposed to keep the mission in mind. It wasn't part of his plan to get distracted.

"I-I'm a warrior!" He sighs in defeat. "I'm a warrior, with his head in the clouds, scattered and split, and his heart in the hands of the enemy. And she doesn't even know it." He rubs his hands over his face, a low groan of distress escaping him. "Damn you Valerie. Damn you for making me fall in love with you."
