Narelle Snow is Handicapped. Beauty is her disability. And in her city of Lumos, any attributes that set someone apart must be punished, because equality is worth any sacrifice.
Until now Narelle has been subscribing to the theory. That is, until her grandfather is executed for conspiring against the government, and she must take action. With the help of a mysterious underground organization and a boy who has gained her trust against all odds, she finds herself in the midst of a sudden revolution--and in the end it is up to her to decide the true worth of freedom.
