"Can I help you?" I question politely while closing my book.

"You're new?" The male asks, leaning on his hand.

"Uh, yeah." I reply awkwardly.

"What's your name then?" He asks giving a small smirk.

"Mackenzie." I imply, hoping Candy would walk in.

A lot of things make me uncomfortable. Well most things, especially when it has to do with people I don't know, or even people in general.

"Cute name. I'm gonna call you Kenzie though, it's adorable." He says still leaning on his hand.

I hope he's not trying to flirt with me, because if that's the case, I don't know how to flirt, because I've never had a boyfriend before. But he doesn't know that I guess.

"Thanks." I bluntly reply.

"I'm Alex by the way." He continues.

Why is Candy taking so long? I just want Alex to leave.

"Oh, okay." I reply once again.

"Well, I gotta go. Hopefully I'll see you soon because you're pretty cute, and welcome to Queenston high and my class too." He says giving me a wide, toothy smile.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it.
