Split (Sanders Sides Dystopia AU - Prinxiety/Logicality)

In the near future, the country is victim to a war, the Second Civil War. It resulted in the United States of America splitting into two countries, the Liberal States and the Conservative States of America. They were almost identical, except for one key difference: the CSA outlawed homosexuality and anything associated with it.
Now, some decades after the split, two brothers, living on opposite sides, meet again after nearly a decade of separation. Will their brotherly bond prevail, or will their differences ruin any chance of reconciling?
