My first contest, inwich I posted a well, post in the Share Your Story club, and the first fifteen entrants qualified to have their story read. I read the stories as far as they held my attention, and wrote short reviews of each as the chapters of this thing. I will interview the authors of the two books that I read the furthest on (or if I liked a shorter one best, I'll pick it). They'll be posted in the first chapters once that gets done. Be on the lookout for more contests from me soon!

One of the most *frequently asked questions* I get from readers of my published novels: "Was Dear Martin the first book you ever wrote?" The answer is no. Dear Martin was the third. The second (at long last!) will be published in Spring 2022, but the first will never see the light of day... Or so I used to say. *Used to* because we are currently in the thick of a literal global pandemic. And we're bored. And trying to stay motivated/encouraged/hopeful, etc. etc. So here it is. Nic Stone's first EVER novel that wasn't supposed to see the light of day. Starting today, April 1st, 2020, I'll post a chapter a day for the next 50 days (you read that right; this joint is LONG) and will leave it up indefinitely. You will laugh--AT me, but also occasionally with me. You will roll your eyes. You will have moments when you wonder if *The Nic Stone* actually wrote this long and intensely tropey and cliche book. About a 16-year-old biracial girl who sometimes glows in the dark, and after the death of her mother, discovers not only some latent supernatural abilities, but a prophesied mission she'll need them for. It is not professionally edited and is likely full of typos (though this was like the twelfth draft). It hasn't been beta-read and probably has some problematic rep in it. But my hope is that by posting it as-is, someone out there who doesn't feel *good enough* will see THIS starting point of a #1 New York Times bestseller and will be encouraged to get the story nagging at them down on paper. Even if it's never "published," there's no telling where it could lead. I hope you enjoy (or at least get a good laugh). Thanks for reading! Nic Stone

Percy and Annabeth-Our Journey Through Life

It started out with just wanting to write a cute little series of one-shots, but this story has become the light of my life. What I thought would get maybe 200 reads max has blossomed into 20,000. It came to a trainwreck of a stop last summer, but due to begging from multiple fans, I've agreed to write a sequel. This is the future of Percabeth, inspired by the user PercyAnnabeth20Owl and the fanfiction entitled Percy and Annabeth-Their Future. ~ I was contacted by PercyAnnabeth20Owl and we are now doing a collab, so unfortunately the sequel's release date is going to be postponed. I am hoping to have it up by early 2015, but due to the fact that I have a new sister, it may take longer than that. Thank you for all your time support to everyone who reads this story. Also, a very special thanks to demigodforthewin for making me the adorable cover without even being asked! <3 I'm so sorry I'm not able to get back to every single comment, as I don't see them right away and I'm very busy with writing right now, but I would be very glad to answer every and any question posted on my message board or inboxed to me. I've met such a lovely community of fans and I'd love to meet more of you! Votes are never mandatory, and feedback is still very much appreciated even though the story is over. Thanks a bunch, and enjoy walking the path of this story that I so gladly decided to pave.
