Ava is a 17 year-old who has to move and live with her father. Who lives over 1,000 miles away! To make matters worse, she is still mourning over the death of her little brother. She thinks that things couldn't get any worse. But they do. For the first time in her life, she has to go to a new school, which means new friends. Ava is not sociable....at all. But the she meets Shane. Shane is cute, nice, and completely friendly. He understands Ava like no one else. Ava likes him, but will he like her back? Or be doomed to be her guy-friend forever?
