A compilation of short stories and poetry that are women centric.
I decided to do this because as an imaginative script writer I tend to have a thousand and one stories pop into my head daily. However, writing a script could take forever so I decided to use this outlet.
I'm not very good at writing a novel but I've always wanted to. As a woman, I decided to write about the issues women face. Although the issues aren't general or limited to this either.
I hope you enjoy reading Woman as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Muhammad thought of Madeenah as a child, younger than his baby sister, although way more mature. She seemed to have created a bond with his daughter and that was all that came to his mind about her. Madeenah thought of Ya Muhammad as an arrogant and stoic person but a really good father. In truth she was terrified of him. She hated the way he would look at her, as though she was less important than him. She hated the way he never spoke unless he needed to. She hated the way his voice washed over her, making her shiver. She hated his height and how it made him tower over her small frame. She hated him but she just couldn't stop thinking about him. So what happens when the two end up being brought together by an unusual arrangement . He's older, she's younger. He has a daughter and she has barely begun life. Coupled with being the daughter of an amicable politician and a lecturer, her life was amazing. . Till cracks began to form in her perfect world. . When her fiance slips into a coma a week to their wedding, Olanma in thrown into a state of grief and hopefulness. But soon a month gush by and she is forced to get back on track on with her life as she waits her fiance awaking. But the first day of resumption at her place of work has a lot in store for her, but out of all what she hadn't expect was to meet a tall tattooed man in her fiance ward claimed to be is an acquaintance. Things happens so fast and before she could process it, the popular journalist is thrown into an underground world of corruption, secrecy, white lies, politics, deception and anti-government organizations. Placed with minimum choices, she is left to choose between the lives of persons she loves the most or herself. There was only one option Her simple or more like, lavish life was turned upside down with a choice of her own and now into a game of survival. Olanma life changed, and she is forced to adapt to fit into this new world. Being a journalist has always been her dream, finding the truth deep within every fraction. "What is your name? " he enquired with a staid expression. Obi's eyes roamed around still trying to ascertain the safety of their current surrounding. Usually when a female dog comes after you, you don't run towards her young puppies, you run far away from them". She adjusted her pleated skirts which had been torn while she ran frantically from the enraged beast. This boy's words were rather insulting but she swallowed any form of insult that would have ensued especially from his reminder of the stereotype that had been carved out from her name . A simple act of gratitude, for he had been her savior. Was he not a dunce for thinking that way?. She knew a lot of moronic boys and her cousin Chukwudi was the ideal example. The dog had run at the sound of his command. She walked away from him slowly hoping to see Sandra somewhere close. "Hey! You owe me a thank you and something else". She ignored him and kept walking.She hated dogs and arrogant rich boys! "My name is Obiefune!" Obiukwu stopped for a brief moment and yelled back at him "thank you! ".
