The world is long gone. The old ways of kindness and compassion as dead as the corpses that now stalk the Earth. In the depths of this zombie apocalypse 17 year old Ryan has survived through it all where his family hasn't been as lucky. Scavenging all he can find, his world revolves around one basic, cruel fact - that any day could be his last. But then the impossible happens. Suddenly his world changes and all around him feelings and people he never knew existed slice through his heart like an icy razor. He sees things that he only ever heard in fairy tales or even the world before, things that he thought were impossible. Can he stay alive long enough to save his friends from the insanity of Boss? And is it possible that he can learn to care about humanity again? A teen thriller with plenty of twists, turns and drama on every page. Has been officially completed, but I have ideas to expand it. Emergence, or Metamorphosis if you prefer, has an incredible shock value, but that doesn't mean it's good. I spent a fair amount of time in Japan as a worker. The taboos found in this "hentai" really interested me to explore this twisted alt-Japan. Here's my take on this heart-breaking story since it seems (in my search anyway) there aren't many people willing to embrace the raw nature of this grotesque universe.Complete
