Edward Murdock is an Australian Doctor at Prince of Wales Hospital, and is caught using prescription drugs to keep himself high. When caught, he is fired and shamed by his peers and the papers, and before he knows it, is thrown into a dangerous job as a medic for criminals, murderers, rapists and drug lords; which consequently lead to his demise.
