Leaving New Mexico to explore Washington state, she finds herself in odd situations.. for instance, picking up a hitch hiker in Colorado. A boy named Callum or Cal. He's what you'd expect a hitchhiker to look like but hot. He's moody and a little rebellious, hence the reason he's hitchhiking. His friends abandoned him in Colorado due to his arrogance and hostility. He's trying to make it back home to Washington before his sisters birthday.
Cal and Winnie are two very different people with the same destination and a mutual attraction between them.
