Amelia Burland was close to be the true first immortal to walk on Earth, other than the Originals. No, she was not a vampire. She was just immortal with some majestic ancestral blood in her veins yet she didn't know who was upon her. Which meant her blood could heal almost everything and anything.
Coincidence Klaus' blood can too, but once his curse is broken? Well, the curse is finally broken and when he goes to Gloria's Bar in Chicago she mentions that his blood is now the second thing to cure wolf bites. Him thinking she was teasing him he goes to New Orleans to visit and finds the "first" actual healer only to find out that it's Kol's former lover and now distant family friend, Amelia Burland.
She shows loyalty to the Mikaelson family and even shares her story with them and does everything in her willpower to keep the promise she pledged to Kol. But high costs are risked to achieve so.
