The first book in The God Slayer series. It is told from the perspective of a sixteen year old demigod, Harvey Duncan, who discovers his lineage and seeks his father, Ares, at Olympus. He must travel through the Labyrinth, guided through the Greek mythos by his new found sister, Imelda Hilda. Along the way he battles minotaurs, meets a titan, kills a sphinx, and braves the steps to Olympus. In the end he will discover what it means to truly be a child of a god.

Things to note about this story is that since I'm writing about real historical mythology, there is of course many, many, different variations, retellings and plots in existence for each one of the myths so I will do my best to comment on and add in variations when necessary, though in some cases I may just stick with the most common, my favorite or the most historically accurate depictions! Rostris was abandoned at birth by her mortal father so she has no idea who he is or his family. Her mother Artemis' side up in Mount Olympus never made contact with Rostris. So when Zeus, her grandfather decides to show up asking for help, she definitely didn't appreciate it. But, she ends up taking on the quest presented to her to hunt a dryad named Ekho. Dryads are female nymphs that inhabit forests and trees.
