A collection of poems by Nandashree.

"Destiny," the chief poem of this collection chronicles the life of Sita, an illustrious character of the Indian epic, "Ramayana."

Sita is known for her unwavering devotion to her husband, Rama. That is what makes her life and story so tragic. Although the plot of the original epic is driven by her abduction, she is hardly given any importance and is cast away as soon as the purpose of her existence is accomplished. This poem details the feelings of Sita as she goes through joys as well as various trials and tribulations, and for once makes "Ramayana" all about Sita and her 'destiny'.

His Vow

8 parts Ongoing

He knows that God is going to send him an angel. And God did. He was well aware of the dark reality of life. A trained fighter who kept himself clean from any bloodstain on him. He knows that she was his from the moment he saw her. But then also knows that he has to pass the test that the protector of that angel was going to give him. A Devil whom no one can tame except her smile. An Angel whose innocence was kept safe by her papa and Bade papa, the king of Mafia. She was safe, or at least she thought, not knowing the danger around her. What will happen when he comes to know about the danger around her? Will he be able to save her from that danger? He listened as she liked to speak. He can shout at anyone, but listed her scolding. He loved her without her knowing; she learned how to love from him. His possessiveness can be seen in his eyes, and hers in words.
