The Sanders Family is like a quilt. They've been stitched together by their experiences, both good, and bad, to create something beautiful. But, someone is now trying to tear their family apart. The Sanders are determined not to let him. Aka Roman's abusive ex-boyfriend/Virgil's abusive birth father has been released from jail, and he is determined to tear their new family apart. Note: As of August 15th, 2022, the first 15 chapters of this fic have been rewritten and updated. I didn't want to start a new work so as to not lose all the old memories kept on this one, as cheesy as it is. If you have read this fic before August 2022, literally all the chapters are different and edited. And if not, welcome! Hope you enjoy this angst-filled found family fic I use to cope with life being shit :))

One introvert plus one extrovert and a quarantine order forcing them to stay in an apartment for a unknown amount of time is a recipe for disaster. Or so Virgil thinks. He's a quiet college student who lives an apartment close to campus because he rather not risk random placement. When his friend is looking for another roommate he gracefully accepts. After almost two years of living with the same people, he has some strong opinions. One of those is how much he dislikes Roman. Now he's stuck with him in a three bedroom apartment and he doesn't even have the buffers there to prevent arguments. After a few weeks, though is he truly feeling the same way? Has he always hated Roman or was he just trying to avoid his actual feelings about his roommate? *This is a AU that has to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantine situation, it won't have anything too bad about the disease but it will have mentions of it. They are also in college so there might be adult situations and mentions of alcohol. I got this idea by listening to Crutch by Set It Off and wanted to make it cute so enjoy it* Currently editing to correct any mistakes in spelling I may have missed before :)
