SUPERNOVA! she cried, as the world before her exploded into seemingly millions of stars-glowing, waiting for the touch of it's owner. Sitting upright, the woman couldn't pull her eyes from what sat. And she knew it was a horrible trick.
Nova Peters, victorious of the sixty-seventh Hunger Games, had never wanted what was brought upon her. She was too innocent, too stubborn for her own good at fifteen years old. She was good. And how good she'd been-a crowd pleaser for her mature figure and confused ways, how stubborn and serious-which had gained her a great amount of sponsors. And in the end, she'd escaped.
Or so she thought.
At sixteen, much like charming victor Finnick Odair, the Capitol sold her innocence. Yes, she was the unity's heart. The victress. The scarring. The political. The mind. She was different, popular.
The five years go by in a blur. She slept with many, bought, sold. But Nova is soon launched back into the games with a pool of victors-reintroduced to people she'd once known, the memories-

"Do you remember what I said about you the day of the reaping?" Finnick nodded. "I genuinely believed every word-" "I know you did," He smiled thoughtfully, "I've never heard you say a single thing that felt scripted. You always just- say what you want to. What you're thinking I've always enjoyed that about you." "Except I don't Finnick," Kaianna scoffed, "not always anyway." "And not right now." He corrected. "Not right now," Kaianna agreed. Everyone knows about the Rebellion Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark started right? Well let me take you back, remember the Rebellion that brought us the Hunger Games? Well no one knew about one spark of a rebellion in-between, the one that made one girl, Forever in The Hunger Games. Well, on the year of the 68th Hunger Games, eleven year old Lucinda Colden sparked Rebellion; she was taken by the Capitol, and was locked away for two months while the Capitol decided what to do with her. They made their decision that men were going to use her, and she was going to be tortured once every two months by being placed in a pool, and then it being electrified, to toughen her up for the years to come. Her main punishment, she was going to be placed in every Hunger Games, mutt or human, for the next twenty years. It is now the 74th annual Hunger Games, Lucinda has survived the past 6 Hunger Games. Now, her 7th has come, and she comes back as violent as ever. But when she finds the competition is high, she grows on three certain people.
