AU in which Betty grew up with her abusive parents Alice and Hal cooper. Her brother and sister abandoned her. When she's 10 she decides to learn self defence,  boxing and weapons training secretly to protect herself however she doesn't have the strength to stand up to her parents at such a young age.

When they die tragically a few years later Betty is taken by social services and moved from foster home to foster home many of which abused her or worse. At 15 she finally managed to find some relatives that were nice and were willing to take her in. The blossoms. 

She meets new friends and old ones and a secret brother she knew nothing about, however no-one knows about her past except the fact that it was traumatising or the fact that she is badass that is the strongest person both physically and mentally and doesn't need protection. 

Will all come to light when she is kidnapped the night of her initiation to become Serpent Queen? Will she survive or will those trying to get to Betty hurt the ones she loves so she sacrifices herself?All Rights Reserved

Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. At first he just seems like your classic cliche bad boy with his leather jacket and combat boots and she gives him some attitude for his over confident attitude until she sees the back of his jacket with the signature snake on it that hes a southside serpent but not just any southside serpent the leader of the southside serpents, Jughead Jones. Betty didn't expect Jughead Jones to take such an interest in a girl as mundane as her and as much as she tries to avoid him he seems to be everywhere she is. When a life changing event happens she finds herself thrown right into the middle of his world she finds him much harder to avoid and to deny her attraction to the original bad boy of Riverdale. Jughead Jones is instantly attracted to the little preppy blonde girl as soon as he meets her with her attitude and fearlessness, he couldn't help but to be intrigued. When she ends up in his world after her own life changing event it becomes obvious the attraction is undeniable and resisting just is impossible. *re-editing because i entered this into the wattys 2018 so just re polishing nothing big will change so feel free to read it. *
