See, we had been told since we were children, that the clocks on our wrists meant something. They were timers, and when the clock would reach zero, we would meet our soul mates. { DISCLAIMER I found the story idea as a writing prompt on tumblr. Its definitely not mine } &nbsp;(((I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this story or not yet. Please bear with me until I can decide.)))

    -completed- Jack looked down at the timer on his wrist and sighed. In 6 days, 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 5 seconds, he was supposed to find his soulmate. Ironically, he had a Vid-Con panel with some friends that day. He often turned down the possibility that it might be one of them, and he assumed that it would be some random event. Possibly a phone call, or someone wandering on stage. He didn't really understand how the clock worked, all he knew was that the second your clock hits zero, you would kiss your soulmate. You can't control it. They may be in a completely different country, but your brain makes you fly there. Nothing gets in the way. Mark looked down at his wrist. He couldn't help but wonder who his soulmate might be, all he knew was that he'll be with them in 6 days, 4 hours, 30 minutes, and 5 seconds. ~~~~~ Hey! So this is the clock soulmate au, but with a twist. When the clock hits zero, they'll kiss their soulmate.

    When you meet your soulmate, a matching mark appears on your wrist. When your soulmate dies, it scars over. If you find a new soulmate, you get a new mark. Butters thought this to be lies. His mark keeps scarring over but being the same in the morning. It's not like he doesn't try to find the cause of this, but he's just given up. He's broken, he has no soulmate, or his soulmate just keeps dying and raising from the dead, but that would just be silly. (I did post this on AO3, so if you've seen it before, that's probably where) Also the cover is horrible but it's because I can't draw :/

My parents were soul mates; my grandparents were too; my brother had met his a few months ago and he’d been ridiculously in love since then. Everything around me seemed to work out just the way it was supposed to but I couldn’t help but be really skeptical about the whole thing. A part of me thought that people felt like they had to spend the rest of their life with the person that stood in front of them when their timer read ‘O’ and therefor convinced themselves that they were in love.
