When Alison Anomi's mother passes away from cancer her whole world turns upside down. She must go live with her Aunt Clara and start her life over. Alison meets Justin, a cold and secretive boy, who she soon learns lost his mother to cancer. Their lives are anything short of easy, and as they decide how they feel about each other they also must decide whether it's truly easier to forget or to fight to keep their loved one's memory alive.
