This is a story about a young girl named Mandy.  Her parents were pirates and she hopes to follow in their footsteps.  She finds a position as the Captain's personal maid on a ship called the "Seaman's Treasure".  The Captain is a handsome young man by the name of Captain John Davy.  She has many adventures while at sea.  She expriences mutiny, whirlpools, unimaginable evil, and maybe even true love.   Will she be brave fulfill her dream of becaoming a legendary pirate?  Or will she spend the rest of forever in a watery grave? pg13
