14 year old Caleb Bujan, born an orphan and a nobody at school, lives in the small town of Sausalito, California. He knew he's always been different he just didn't know how. One day, he comes upon a strange group of individuals.They seem to be talking about something, but Caleb can only hear some of their conversation. Their bodies are as dark as silhouettes and almost transparent. No one else around him seem to see the strange group and just walk right through them. One of the individuals notices Caleb looking at them.
	The group seizes him, and takes him to an undersea city.  Caleb finds out about his past, his parents, family secrets and his role in saving the dying city of Ardenti.
