Firstly thanks to anybody who reads this, and comments are greatly appreciated :)

(give the story a chance to get started its a short, so that won't take long, I promise it gets better as you go.)

Just to make things clear I have a brief setting description, pleas bare with me if you want to understand what is going on. I would love to give you an exciting dust jacket, but I would also be revealing major spoilers, there are juicy bits, I just can't say much about them taken out of context they could give the secrets away.

The story is set in a realistic fiction world. Think like Ireland and Scotland are mushed together and "England" is still its own island. These countries are not England, Ireland and Scotland, I just use those names so readers can have an idea what the character's backgrounds are. The time period is the mid/late 1700's "Briton". In my world Ireland/Scotland were invaded and taken over by the English, but they rebelled. In this version they won and are reforming after the "English" have gone home.

Anthony the main character was one of the "English" ruling lords. Instead of fleeing after the war ended he gathered other "English", mercenaries, and traitors keeping his land and power by marshal law. The neighboring chieftain Aedmair, used to be one of Anthony's family's tenants. Living close to each other but coming from two totally different world's they never saw eye to eye. Aedmair was a captain in the reble forces when they fought for their freedom, Anthony also went to fight, but on the other side. Several times he and she meet on the field...

Present time, Anthony feels trapped by Aedmair's growing power, and goes to plead with her but weather for his life, his lands, or a certain woman who is defiantly off limits he is undecided. Read on to find out what is most precious to him, and what Aedmair decides to do with him, she has nothing to loose, after all?

The Boy Who Read Minds ✔️

70 parts Complete

Highest rank: #1 in Teen-Fiction and sci-fi romance, #1 mindreader, #2 humor Aaron's special power might just be the coolest- or scariest- thing ever! It's always helped with his bad-boy reputation, his rightfully arrogant all-knowing intimidation seemed to go a long way with his love life and somehow also his education. Until he met Violet, one of the smartest girls in school; a girl he's been using for years, zoning in on her mind to ultimately cheat on exams and steal the title of valedictorian. Until one day, Violet failed him. Her mind wandered all over the place- her parent's divorce, her breakup, and he couldn't help but sympathize. But Violet's a smart girl, who knows how long it'll take before she finds out. Aaron depends so much on his mind-reading capabilities that when they suddenly disappear- so does everything he hasn't worked for. His secret was like Samson and his hair, once it's told, the magic's all gone.
